2025 Furman Men's Soccer Schedule

Greenville, S.C. – The defending Southern Conference champion Furman men's soccer team will play 11 home matches at Stone Soccer Stadium in 2025, including tilts against 2024 NCAA Tournament participants Duke and Charlotte, it was announced on Tuesday.
 
After a pair of exhibition matches, the Paladins open the 2025 regular season in Durham, N.C., versus UC San Diego (Aug. 21) and the nationally-ranked San Diego Toreros (Aug. 24) before returning home to Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium to entertain North Greenville on August 28. The Duke Blue Devils, ranked No. 15 in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 from last season, come to Greenville for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, August 31, and former SoCon foe Davidson will provide the opposition for the annual Gray Griffin Memorial Game on September 4.
 
Following visits to ACC foe Virginia Tech and 2024 NCAA Tournament side Gardner-Webb, Furman hosts College of Charleston, perennial power Charlotte, and USC Upstate during a three-match homestand. SoCon play begins with a trip to Mercer on October 4, while ETSU and UNC Greensboro visit Stone Stadium for crucial league matches later in the month. The match versus UNCG will serve as Furman's annual Quinn Game for Down Syndrome Awareness.
 
Head coach Doug Allison, entering his 31^st year at the helm of the Paladin program, has announced that the 2025 campaign will be his final season. The SoCon's all-time winningest coach has posted a 349-173-72 overall record and 137-54-23 league mark in 30 seasons on the touchline. He returns eight starters, including SoCon Goalkeeper of the Year Aaron Salinas, from a 2024 squad that posted a 9-4-6 record, claimed the SoCon Tournament crown, and advanced past nationally-ranked North Carolina in NCAA Tournament play.
