GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Kickoff for Furman's Aug. 30 football season opener versus William & Mary is set for 2:00 p.m. at Paladin Stadium, it was announced today by Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Donnelly,

The game represents the first of six home games for the Paladins this season and will feature High School Band Day promotion.

William & Mary earned a 34-24 win over Furman last season in Williamsburg to even the series between the former Southern Conference rivals at eight games apiece.  The Paladins claimed a 34-10 verdict in the last clash versus the Tribe in Greenville in 2000.
