GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman head women's lacrosse coach
Gail Wallach has announced the addition of 17 newcomers that will join the program for the upcoming 2026 season.

"This class is a group of talented lacrosse players and leaders with high character," said Wallach, who will be entering her second season with the Paladins in 2026. "They have the intensity and passion in their pursuit to compete for a Big South championship. The versatility and commitment of these student-athletes will positively impact Furman in the classroom, on the playing field, and beyond. Furman's newcomers include seven midfielders, six attackers, and four defenders. They hail from 11 different states and the District of Columbia, including Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Oregon.
The Paladins won a school record 14 games in 2025 and claimed a share of the Big South Regular Season Championship for the first time in program history. Furman returns 26 letterwinners from last year's team and seven starters including Big South Freshman of the Year and second team All-Big South
