GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman head men's golf coach Matt Davidson announced today the team's schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The Paladin schedule includes 11 tournaments, with five slated for the fall and six in the spring.
"We take a lot of pride in putting together a schedule that is very competitive with great fields but also includes great golf courses," said Davidson. "I think we have both this year. The guys need to be ready right from start!"
For the fifth season in a row, Furman will open the fall season at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn., which is slated for Sept. 7-8. Later in September, the Paladins will again travel to the Bearcat Invitational, which will be hosted by the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, from Sept. 15-16.
The Paladins return to Dallas, Texas, for SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational, which is scheduled for Oct. 5-7, before playing in a new event, the Everett Buick GMC Classic, which Little Rock will host at Chenal Country Club on Oct. 13-14.
The 55th Furman Intercollegiate, presented by Ezelle/Hines Properties, will be held at the Furman University Golf Club on Oct. 18 and 19 to wrap up the Paladins' fall season. Furman finished as runner-up last year after winning the event in 2023.
The 2026 spring season begins at Florida's Gators Invitational, Feb. 14-15, in Gainesville, Fla., marking the Paladins' lone February event. In March, Furman will travel to the General Hackler Championship, hosted by Coastal Carolina at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, March 15-17 then conclude the month with a return trip to the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, slated for Mar. 22-24 in Awendaw, S.C. Furman recorded a third-place finish at the prestigious event last season.
After a few seasons away, the Paladins will revisit tournaments at Vanderbilt and North Carolina in April. The Mason Rudolph Championship will be held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn., April 2-5, and the Tar Heel Intercollegiate is slated for April 11-12 at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Southern Conference Championship will be held at a new site the season. The event is scheduled for April 27-29 at the renovated Solina Golf Club in West Columbia, S.C., the site of last year's SoCon women's golf tournament.
The NCAA regional championships are slated for May 18-20 at six campus sites, and the NCAA Championship will be held May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
