Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team, ranked No. 3 in this week's Top Drawer Soccer Top 25, returns to action on Tuesday evening when it hosts the College of Charleston Cougars in non-conference action on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.

Furman (4-0-3) climbed from ninth to third in the Top Drawer poll and from 19
th to ninth in the College Soccer News Top 25 after earning a scoreless draw at No. 5 Virginia Tech and a 4-1 victory at No. 8 Gardner-Webb this past week. Goalkeeper
Ivan Horvat stopped 14-of-15 shots on the week, including eight saves against the Hokies, to earn the decision in both matches.

The Paladins hold a 21-11-6 lead in the all-time series against their former Southern Conference rivals entering Tuesday's match. In last year's meeting, Furman tallied four goals in the final 18 minutes, highlighted by a pair of scores from Bustamante, to down the 23
rd-ranked Cougars, 4-2.
College of Charleston also posted a 1-0-1 record this past week with a 1-0 home win over USC Upstate and 0-0 draw in CAA play versus Campbell. The Cougars arrive in Greenville at 2-4-1 on the season.
Tuesday's match opens a three-game homestand for the Paladins, who will entertain Charlotte on September 22 and USC Upstate on September 30 before opening league play at Mercer on October 4.
