Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team will play the second match of a three-match road trip on Friday night when it pays a visit to preseason Southern Conference favorite Western Carolina.
Kickoff between the Paladins and Catamounts is set for 7 p.m. at the Catamount Sports Complex and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+. Links for the live stream and live statistics are available on the women's soccer page at FurmanPaladins.com.
Furman enters Friday's crucial SoCon showdown riding a nine-match unbeaten streak. The Paladins, 7-1-2 overall and 1-0-1 in the SoCon, opened league play with a 2-2 draw at home versus Mercer before claiming a 2-1 victory at VMI on Sunday afternoon.

Norah Roller netted both goals in Sunday's victory en route to earning SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors. The Birmingham, Ala., native leads the Paladins with five goals this season.
Friday's match marks the 35
th all-time meeting between the Paladins and Catamounts with Furman holding a 23-10-1 series lead. The Catamounts claimed a 2-0 victory in Greenville in the most recent meeting between the schools on October 24, 2024.
Western Carolina enters the weekend at 5-3-3 overall and 1-0-1 in league play. After playing to a draw at Samford in the SoCon opener, the Catamounts, who have claimed back-to-back regular season conference title, downed Mercer, 2-1, in Macon, Ga., on Sunday afternoon.
