Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team plays for at least share of its 10^th Southern Conference regular season title on Sunday afternoon when the Paladins entertain the Western Carolina Catamounts in the regular season finale on Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium.

Admission is free to Sunday's match, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Links for the live stream and live statistics are available on the women's soccer schedule page at FurmanPaladins.com.

Furman, 12-3-3 overall and 7-0-2 in the SoCon, enters Sunday's regular season finale riding a nine-match unbeaten streak and tied for first in the league standings with Samford, who plays at VMI on Sunday afternoon. A Paladin win on Sunday would give Furman a share of its first SoCon title since 2019 while a Paladin win and tie between the Keydets and Bulldogs would secure an outright title and the No. 1 seed in the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship.

The Paladins clinched a top two seed in the tournament and earned a first-round bye with a 2-0 victory at Mercer on Thursday evening. Junior Riley O'Bryan's first half header put Furman in front before defender Ellie Herrmann buried a free kick in the second half to double the lead. Furman is guaranteed to host a quarterfinal round match at Stone Stadium on Sunday, November 8, at 2 p.m.

Over its nine SoCon matches this season, Furman has notched five shutouts and outscored its league opposition by a combined score of 25-5. Goalkeeper Reese DeJong, the reigning SoCon Defensive Player of the Week, has registered three consecutive shutouts and seven solo shutouts this season.

Western Carolina arrives in Greenville for the regular season finale at 4-10-3 overall and 2-5-2 in the league following a 1-0 loss to Tennessee Tech on Thursday night. Furman holds a 24-10-1 lead in the all-time series against the Catamounts and claimed a 1-0 victory last season in Cullowhee, N.C., when DeJong stopped a first half penalty kick and Maddie Massie scored the lone goal in the 63^rd minute.
