About The Fred Mitchell Award
The Fred Mitchell Award annually recognizes the nation's top collegiate place-kicker among more than 750 eligible programs across FCS, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA football. The award evaluates excellence on the field while also recognizing character and community service off the field.
With more than 750 kickers eligible for consideration each week and only a small group receiving Kicker of the Week honors, this is a significant and relatively rare national recognition. We encourage you to share the honor through your athletics website and social media channels.
