GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman men's tennis team continues its 10-match road trip this weekend traveling to Richmond, Ky., for a pair of non-conference matches against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles and Eastern Kentucky Colonels at EKU's Greg Adams Tennis Center.
The Paladins begin the weekend on Friday morning taking on Tennessee Tech at 9 a.m. Furman then faces Eastern Kentucky Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

The Paladins (2-5) traveled to Conway, S.C., last weekend and split a pair of non-conference matches with Coastal Carolina and William & Mary at CCU's Stevens Tennis Complex. Furman started the weekend with a 6-1 loss to Coastal Carolina before coming back the next day to earn a 4-2 victory over William & Mary.
Nico Snyder, who earned his first career Player of the Week honor from the Southern Conference on Tuesday, picked up the Paladins' lone point in the loss to Coastal Carolina after earning a straight-set victory playing at No. 1.
Furman followed the next day registering a 4-2 victory over William & Mary, its 15
th in 17 all-time meetings against the Tribe. The Paladins collected the doubles point with wins by Snyder and
Nicolas Dispas at No. 1, and
Alex Han and
Finn Pollard at No. 3. Furman then posted three singles victories from Snyder at No. 1,
Evan Duggal at No. 3, and Dispas at No. 5.
Eastern Kentucky enters the weekend with a 6-8 overall record while Tennessee Tech currently sits at 1-4 for the year.
The Paladins are facing the Colonels for the fifth time in program history and Golden Eagles the third. Furman has won each of the previous four matchups with Eastern Kentucky and owns a 2-0 advantage over Tennessee Tech.
The Paladins travel to Charlotte, N.C., next Friday, February 27, to face Charlotte at 10:30 a.m.
