GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman women's lacrosse team welcomes the Wofford Terriers to Paladin Stadium Wednesday evening for a Big South Conference matchup slated for 7 p.m.

The Paladins (6-5, 2-0 Big South) pushed their winning streak to three straight games last Saturday with a 17-9 win over Radford at Paladin Stadium. Furman concluded the game holding a 44-28 advantage in shots, 19-15 in ground balls, 14-13 in draws, and 10-4 in caused turnovers. The 44 shots tied for fourth-most in a game in program history. The Paladins' nine turnovers were the fewest turned in this season.
Lily Toole's season high seven points guided the Furman offense after registering five goals and two assists.
Shae Insinga scored five times, and
Allie Kandel added five points on three assists and two goals. Defensively,
Zoe Milmoe picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers along with
Charlotte Kent and
Rachel Sbei.
Cate Noone scored once and won a career high five draws. Goalie
Sam Melville collected the win after finishing with 11 saves and one ground ball.
Wofford enters the contest with a 4-7 overall record and 2-0 mark in the Big South. The Terriers have won their last two contests, both in conference play, and are coming off an 18-7 victory this past Saturday at Gardner-Webb. Wofford is under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jessie Aguglia.
The Paladins and Terriers are meeting for the ninth time in program history dating back to 2018. Furman owns an 8-0 advantage in the all-time series including a 20-18 win last year in Spartanburg. In the last meeting at Paladin Stadium in 2024, the Paladins held on for a 12-10 victory.
Furman heads to Farmville, Va., on Saturday afternoon to face Longwood at 1 p.m.
