Toole Selected Big South Offensive Player Of The Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman sophomore attack Lily Toole has been selected the Big South Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played March 23-29, it was announced today by the league office.

A native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Toole earns the eighth weekly honor of her career and first this season. She led the Paladin offense as they opened Big South play with wins over Presbyterian and Radford. Toole guided the team with 12 points on eight goals, including one game-winner, and four assists. She also totaled four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Toole started the week with three goals and two assists in Furman's 15-7 conference-opening road win over Presbyterian, while also setting career highs with four ground balls and three caused turnovers. She followed with a season best seven points in a 17-9 victory over Radford, tying a season high with five goals and adding two assists.

Entering the week, Toole leads the Big South with 45 points and ranks third with 32 goals and fifth with 13 assists. She also tops the Paladins in points and is second in both goals and assists.
