FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Furman blanked Toledo, 4-0, Wednesday at the FGCU Tennis Complex in Fort Myers, Fla., to conclude the Paladins' spring break road trip.

Furman won doubles matches at flights two and three to claim the opening point.  Freshmen Sasha Dimitrov and Bianca Ceroni topped Anastasia Akuginova and Gaby Rondon, 6-1, at flight two, and freshman Molly Robinson and junior Macy Hitchcock beat Jone Ibanez and Annika Munson, 6-2, at number three.  The flight one match was unfinished.  

The Paladins scored at flights one, two, and four in singles.  Freshman Elle Warren defeated JJ Scholten, 6-2, 6-4, at number one, and freshman Lillie Murphy made quick work of Isabella Barretto, 6-1, 6-0, at flight two.  At number four, Ceroni recorded a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Munson.  

Matches at flights three, five, and six were unfinished. 

The 67th-ranked Paladins move to 6-3, while Toledo drops to 5-6 with the loss.  

Furman returns home to entertain Belmont Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center.
