GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The 72nd-ranked Furman women's tennis team will entertain Chattanooga Friday at 11 a.m. in the Paladins' home finale at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.
Furman moved to 13-4 overall and 5-0 in SoCon play after sweeping Wofford, 7-0, on Tuesday. Freshmen Lillie Murphy and Elle Warren, who competed at the NCAA Doubles Championship in the fall, are ranked 38th nationally in doubles, while freshmen Sasha Dimitrov and Murphy are ranked 60th nationally after notching spring wins over Iowa and Austin Peay.
The Mocs are 14-3 overall and 3-1 in the league since falling to ETSU, 7-0, on Saturday. The Paladins lead the all-time series, 45-9 after defeating Chattanooga, 7-0, on the road last season.
