Greenville, S.C. – Graduate transfer Marcus Kell is set to join the Furman men's basketball program for the 2026-27 season, it was officially announced this week by Paladin head coach
Bob Richey.
Kell, a native of Fort Mill, S.C., joins the Paladins after four years at Southern Conference rival Western Carolina and will have one season of eligibility.
"Marcus is a guy we've watched for a long time in this league, and we're thrilled to have him on our side," said Richey. "He brings toughness, versatility, and experience, and we believe he fits perfectly with how we play and who we are as a program. His ability to impact the game on both ends, along with his maturity as a graduate transfer, will make him a valuable addition to our locker room and our culture."
