GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman volleyball team concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule this week traveling to Clemson, S.C., to face the Clemson Tigers and New Hampshire Wildcats in the Tiger Classic at Jervey Gym.
The Paladins get things started on Thursday evening when they take on Clemson at 6 p.m. and come back Saturday afternoon for a 12 p.m. first serve versus New Hampshire.

Furman (5-4) picked up wins last weekend over Stetson and Campbell at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Dunn Campbell Invitational in Buies Creek, N.C. The Paladins picked up a 3-0 sweep of Stetson in the opener and closed out the tournament with a 3-1 victory over Campbell.
In the 3-0 win versus Stetson,
Izzy Castelloe led all players with a match high 13 kills on .417 hitting while
Amber Watson poured in 11.
Ashtan Dodson contributed eight kills, nine digs, and a career high four blocks.
Kacie Moore tallied six kills.
Emily Navarro, who was named SoCon Setter of the Week on Monday, posted 26 assists and seven digs, and
Morgan Baldridge added 10 assists and five digs. Defensively,
Rebekah Buchholz had a team best five blocks.
Castelloe hit .441 and tied for a match high with 16 kills in Furman's 3-1 loss to Ball State. Navarro contributed 19 assists and seven digs. Seekford had a team high 22 digs while
Ashley Stein provided 12 and
Lauren Haynes 10. Moore tallied five blocks.
The win against tournament host Campbell saw Castelloe and Dodson both record 12 kills. Navarro registered her team leading sixth double-double of the season with 23 assists and 11 digs while Baldridge added 15 assists and eight digs. Seekford finished with a match high 28 digs. Making her first appearance of the season,
Tennyson Gorman had a match high 10 blocks.
The Tigers currently sit at 5-4 overall while the Wildcats boast a 7-3 record for the season.
Clemson owns a 34-5 advantage in the all-time series over the Paladins while Furman is facing New Hampshire for the first time in program history.
The Paladins open the Southern Conference portion of their schedule next weekend, September 25-26, traveling to league newcomer Tennessee Tech.
