GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Sophomore Olivia Hasselbach (-7) is in second place following Saturday's second round of the 52nd Annual Lady Paladin Invitational at the par-72, 6,335 yard Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C.

Hasselbach, a native of Tampa, Fla., carded a 2-under 70 after birdieing three out of four holes from No. 10 through No. 13.  She sits just two strokes behind individual leader Makayla Grubb (-9) of High Point, who posted a two-round total of 67-68=135.

Freshman Rebecca Lee (+1) recorded a 74 with three birdies to tie for 18th on Saturday, and three Paladins moved into a tie for 37th.  Junior Jenna Madden (+5) also shot a 74 with three birdies, while junior Eva Ringwald (+5) tallied a 76 with four birdies, including consecutive birdies on No. 5 and No. 6.  Senior Audrey Ryu (+5) carded a 77 with a birdie on No. 15 to round out the Furman three tied for 37th.  

Senior Kelsi Mauzy (+4), who is one of three Paladins playing as individuals, fired a career-best 68 to move into a tie for 33rd place.  Mauzy posted three birdies and eagled the par-5 No. 11.  Sophomore Ava Hanneman (+2) shot even par with four birdies, including back to back birdies on No. 12 and No. 13, to move up into a tie for 21st, and junior Andrea Marin Raga (+7) carded a 74 with three birdies to tie for 45th. 

The Paladins (+1) are in fifth place entering Sunday's final round.  Alabama (-10) extended its lead in round two, and Xavier (-7) led the field at 4-under to move into second place.  High Point (-3) is in third, followed by Augusta (-2) in fourth place.  

Sunday's final round of the 54-hole tournament will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.  Furman will tee off on No. 6 through No. 10 and will play in a group with Old Dominion, Minnesota, and Florida Gulf Coast.
