2026-27 Furman Men's Basketball Schedule
 
Greenville, S.C. – The 2026-27 Furman men's basketball season moved a step closer this week with the announcement of the Paladins' non-conference schedule, which is highlighted by home dates against Missouri Valley Conference member Northern Iowa, United Athletic Conference member Austin Peay, and CAA members Elon and North Carolina A&T.
 
Exhibition play begins on October 8 when Furman travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to take on SEC foe Alabama. Furman will host former Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern on October 18 at Timmons Arena and close the preseason with a visit to the College of Charleston on October 25.
 
The Paladins open the regular season on Monday, November 2, at 8 p.m. when they face Bethune-Cookman in the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, S.C. After playing Bob Jones in the home opener on Wednesday, November 4, the UNI Panthers make tier first visit to Timmons Arena for a marquee mid-major matchup on Saturday, November 7.
 
Furman faces three consecutive road tests with trips visits to Holy Cross (Nov. 11), Belmont (Nov. 14), and Radford (Nov. 18) prior to closing the month of November with home dates against Clinton College (Nov. 21), Elon (Nov. 24), and Austin Peay (Nov. 28). Sun Belt Conference member Troy hosts Furman on Tuesday, December 1, in a rematch of last season's home opener at Timmons Arena before the Paladins begin Southern Conference play on Saturday, December 5, at UNC Greensboro. The non-conference home slate concludes with visits from North Carolina A&T (Dec. 12) and Tennessee Wesleyan (Dec. 16).
