Furman: Has battled injuries for much of his three-year Furman career but now appears poised to possibly seize notable playing time as backup to starting tight end Colin Anderson, a preseason All-SoCon selection...sports excellent size and blocking skills along with good hands. 2010 — Saw action in all 11 games, primarily on special teams...recorded a nine-yard kickoff return in season finale versus Georgia Southern. 2009 — Hampered for much of the season with injuries...did not see any action. 2008 — Member of scout team...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.
