2015 — Battled back from preseason and early season injury to earn starts in final eight games...accorded second team All-SoCon honors by head coaches for second consecutive year...finished the campaign with 15 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns...caught three passes for 35 yards against S.C. State (17-3 win)...hauled in a 19-yard scoring strike from wide receiver Logan McCarter versus The Citadel...collected three grabs for 24 yards and two scores in season finale against Wofford, with touchdown catches covering 5 and 16 yards...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
2014 — Made the challenging positional switch from quarterback to tight end beginning in the spring of 2014...move proved successful as evidenced by his consensus second team All-SoCon selection in balloting by league head coaches and media...caught 36 passes for 442 yards and two touchdowns...posted starts in 11 games and recorded catches in 11 of 12 contests...nabbed four receptions for 70 yards in SoCon season opening win over Mercer (25-20 win)...tallied a season best eight catches for another season leading 98 yards against S.C. State...first touchdown catch covered five yards against Western Carolina...had back-to-back four-reception performances versus Coastal Carolina (59 yards) and South Carolina (55 yards)...had a 28-yard scoring grab versus VMI...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
2013 — Part of a contingent of nine true freshmen to see action...began preseason camp listed as the No. 4 quarterback but climbed the depth chart due to rash of injuries that sideline signal callers Reese Hannon, Dillon Woodruff, Terry Robinson over the course of the preseason and the Paladins’ first four games...made his collegiate debut in the second half at The Citadel (24-17 win), coming off the bench following a injury to starter Reese Hannon to engineer one of the season’s most important victories...rushed four times for 19 yards and completed all three pass attempts for 61 yards, including a 43-yard connection with Gary Robinson to set up a fourth quarter touchdown that proved to be the game winner in Charleston...made his first career state the next week against Elon, completing 25-of-38 passes for 255 yards and a touchdown...also scored on a two-point conversion run against the Phoenix...performance earned him SoCon Freshman of the Week honors...started the following week at Chattanooga...in all saw action in four games...completed 36-of-58 passes for 378 yards and a touchdown (two interceptions)...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll....made the move to tight end in spring practice.
High School: 2013 graduate of Brookstone (A) School...football coach was Brad Dehem...played quarterback and free safety...earned first team all-region, All Bi-City, and all-state honors as a senior after passing for over 2,000 yards and accounting for 28 touchdowns while leading his squad to a region championship...also captured all-region and All Bi-City accolades in basketball...recipient of Doris and Tom Black Award, which is given annually to the senior who has made the biggest impact over previous four years.
