2014 — Awarded medical redshirt due to ongoing rehabilitation efforts associated with knee injury sustained during 2013 season...returned to the field in the spring, where he completed his move to running back...ran eight times for 29 yards in purple-white scrimmage on Mar. 28.  2013 — Earned playing time in five games as a backup quarterback...role as a signal caller was enhanced due to preseason injury to Reese Hannon...proved effective working primarily out the “wildcat” set..rushed 23 times for 101 yards and four touchdowns...scored Furman’s first touchdown of the season, bolting 24 yards for a 7-0 first quarter lead...brother, Gary, scored on a 70-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter against Gardner-Webb...keyed a 24-17 win over The Citadel, rushing 12 times for 46 yards and two touchdowns, scoring on runs of nine and two yards...had an 11-yard touchdown run against Elon prior to sustaining a season ending knee injury...did not participate in spring practice due to ongoing rehabilitation efforts.  2012 — Came off the bench to see action in three games at quarterback...rushed 10 times for 51 yards...earned his first playing time against Presbyterian (31-21 win), rushing three times for 32 yards...had seven rushes for 19 yards versus Western Carolina (45-24 win)...also made an appearance against Elon (31-17 win).

High School: 2012 graduate of Hephzibah (3A) High School...football coach was John Bowen...played quarterback...three-time all-region selection...passed for 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns and added three rushing scores in 2011...threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns and ran 18 times for 138 yards and two scores versus Cross Creek...named to the 2011 Augusta Chronicle Preseason Dream 16 Team.
