High School: 2016 graduate of football powerhouse Buford (4A) High School...football coach was Jess Simpson...played tight end and defensive end, and also served as a long snapper...career statistics included 18 receptions for 210 yards and a touchdown, as well as 15 sacks...served as team captain and earned first team All-Gwinnett County honors as a senior in helping Buford to a 13-2 record and state runner-up finish...two-time region champion and school record holder (159’1”) in the discus.
