2018 — Joined the Furman program following three seasons at Clemson...earned a starting job in the preseason, and proceeded to register starts in the first four games before injuries limited him to just one start thereafter...in all saw action in seven games...also contributed as a punt return specialist...credited with three tackles in season opener against Clemson...had three stops, including an assist for a loss, a pass breakup, and a 20-yard punt return versus Elon...had a fumble recovery to go along with three tackles against Western Carolina (44-38 win)...came off the bench to tally four tackles, including one for-loss, against Samford...credited with a pair of pass breakups against VMI (49-13 win)...returned to the starting lineup in the season finale, a 35-30 SoCon title clinching victory over Mercer.

2017 — Earned playing time in 10 games, including six in the Clemson secondary and four as a contributor on special teams...registered a tackle against both Kent State and The Citadel...most action (18 plays) came against The Citadel...had one punt return for five yards...transferred to Furman in January of 2018.

2016 — Saw action in three games, totaling 36 plays...registered a tackle in his career debut versus S.C. State...had three tackles against Syracuse...also played against South Carolina.

2015 — Redshirted...awarded extra year of eligibility

High School: 2015 graduate of Daniel High School...football coach was Randy Robinson...earned first team all-state and Shrine Bowl honors after totaling 55 tackles, four interceptions, and nine pass breakups his senior year...also averaged 22.7 yards on 12 punt returns...

Personal: Born November 17, 1997...father, James Trapp, was a standout defensive back at Clemson (1989-92) who went on to play 11 years in the NFL and win a Super Bowl Championship ring with the Baltimore Ravens at the end of the 2000 season...also won an Olympic gold medal with the 4x100 at the 1992 Olympics....business administration major.
