Note: Prior to 2002 the NCAA only recognized regular season games for team and individual statistical rankings, thus statistics compiled in Furman’s 24 I-AA (now FCS) playoff games from 1982-2001 are not included in official team and individual season and career totals.  The Southern Conference included playoff game statistics in its totals from 1982-2001 before later retroactively expunging playoff game statistics compiled during that period to bring the league in line with official NCAA totals.
