Furman University

Furman:  Will look to command mound time this spring after an injury plagued 2010 campaign that limited his effectiveness.  2010 — Began the season as part of Furman’s weekend rotation but went 0-4 with a 10.32 ERA in six starts before his season ended...best outing (no decision) came in an eventual 6-5 Paladin victory over Davidson (5.1 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 2 K)...beaned 11 opponents but recorded 18 strikeouts in only 22 2/3 innings of work.

Junior College/NCAA:  Member of 2009 Brookdale (N.J.) NJCAA World Series team (42-10)...played at Seton Hall in 2008 (2-0, 3.68 ERA)...went 4-1 with 2.45 ERA with the Lehigh Valley Catz in the Atlantic Collegiate League in 2009...named the ACL’s No. 2 prospect by Baseball America. 

High School:  2007 graduate of Middletown South High School...also played basketball.
