Furman:  Expected to provide backup duty at punter.  2010 — Saw his first collegiate action against Appalachian State, attempting an unsuccessful onside kick in the fourth quarter.  2009 — Did not see any action.  2008 — Did not see any action....awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

High School: 2007 graduate of Clarke Central (4A) High School and 2008 graduate of Navy Preparatory School...prep coach was Leroy Ryals...averaged 38.6 yards per punt for his career and had 20 kicks inside the 20...first team all-region and All-Northeast Georgia selection as a senior...National Football Foundation and Hall-of-Fame Scholar-Athlete honoree.
