2021 — Saw action in all 11 games and made 10 starts at nose guard...voluntarily turned down starting assignment versus VMI (37-31 win), making way for redshirt senior Parker Stokes to register the start on senior day...credited with 32 tackles, including one for-loss...registered a season high five tackles against The Citadel (24-14 win)...had four tackles versus East Tennessee State...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll for the 2021-22 school year.
2020 — Registered starts at nose guard in Furman’s first five games (spring of ‘21)...missed the last two games due to injury...named second team All-SoCon in balloting by league head coaches...credited with 13 tackles, including 1.5 for-loss, and a forced fumble...top performance came in Furman’s 44-37 overtime win over Samford when he tallied five tackles and a forced fumble in overtime...fumble was recovered by teammate Cally Chizik to preserve the win.
2019 — Earned playing time in all 13 games and made three starts at nose guard...credited with 22 tackles, four tackles for-loss, and a pair of sacks...first start came against East Tennessee State (17-10 win)...got the starting nod in the Paladins’s final two games: versus Point (64-7 win) and FCS first round playoff game versus Austin Peay...had a season high six tackles and both sacks versus Point.
2018 — Saw limited duty in the Paladins’ final two games versus VMI (49-13 win) and Mercer (35-30 win)...qualified for a redshirt and extra year of eligibility.
High School: Â 2018 graduate of Elizabethton (3A & 4A) High School...head coach was Shawn Witten...played defensive end and defensive tackle on Elizatbethon teams that competed in class 3A through his junior year before moving up to 4A in 2017...member of conference championship and state playoff squads his sophomore (10-2) and junior (11-2) years...as a senior helped lead Elizabethton 9-3 campaign and playoff berth in first year in class 4A...selected as team captain and recorded a pair of tackles for winning East Team (16-10 victory) in 2017 East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Classic...2016 Tennessee Sportswriters Association (TSWA) All-State pick...three-time all-region choice...two-time region defensive player of the year.
