2011 — Delivered solid play as the primary backup to Paladin All-America tight end Colin Anderson...saw action in all 11 games...caught seven passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns...scoring grabs covered 13 yards against Presbyterian (63-21 win) and two yards versus Elon...season’s biggest catch covered 54 yards against FCS third-ranked Appalachian State (20-10 win) and came on a third-and-two play from the Furman 9 midway through the third quarter with the Paladins holding a 20-7 lead. 2010 — Received a medical discharge from Navy and joined the Paladin program in January of 2010...participated in spring practice...registered playing time in four games, including the last four....credited with an assisted tackle versus Howard (56-14 win).
High School: 2009 graduate of Brentwood High School...football coach was Ron Crawford...played defensive end and tight end...registered 102 tackles, 11 sacks, two interceptions as a senior in helping his squad to 12-2 record and region championship in 2008...region defensive player of the year, all-conference, all-midstate, and first team all-state honoree...also racked up 11 tackles and an interception in 2008 Tennessee All-Star Game...two-time all-state performer in lacrosse.
