2014 — Working as a backup fullback and contributor on special teams, earned playing time in a pair of early season games against Mercer (25-20 win) and Presbyterian before sustaining a torn ACL that sidelined him for the remainder of the season...credited with a tackle versus Mercer...returned to field for 2015 spring practice in limited (non-contact) role.   2013 — Registered six plays versus Appalachian State (27-10 win) as a reserve guard before making the switch to reserve fullback and tight end at mid-season...in all earned playing time in five games.  2012 — Did not see any action. 2011 — Member of scout team.

High School:  2011 graduate of Montgomery (3A) Academy...football coach was Chris Cournoyer...two-year, two-way starter on offensive and defensive lines...served as team captain and earned first team All-Metro Montgomery honors in 2010...two-time offensive line player of the week selection as a senior...also played basketball and baseball, and participated in track...served as team captain in basketball as a sophomore, junior, and senior...competed in the javelin and shot put, recording the second longest throw (141’4”) in the javelin in school history and second best mark in Alabama’s 2A and 3A ranks in 2011...two-time Furman University Football Camp participant...active in school extracurricular, church, and community service activities.

Anderson, Jr...born April 7, 1993, in Montgomery, Alabama...son of Charlie and Linda Anderson...has three brothers: Roscoe, Sterling, and Brian...father was one of the finest offensive linemen in Furman history — a four-year letterman (1978-81), two-time first team All-Southern Conference selection, two-time SoCon Jacobs Blocking Award honoree (the only two-time honoree among Furman’s 20 Jacobs Blocking Award selections), NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient, and member of Furman’s Athletic Hall of Fame...business administration major.
