Drew Jacobs arrived at Furman prior to the start of the 2023 season and in his first season served in the capacity of offensive quality control and with the Paladin quarterbacks, including Tyler Huff, the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
The Paladins fashioned a successful 10-3 season that included a SoCon championship, FCS quarterfinal playoff appearance, and No. 6 ranking in the AFCA final poll.
Prior to coming to Furman, he worked at the University of Findlay, his alma mater, as an offensive student assistant and interim wide receivers coach for two seasons, helping Findlay to a GMAC title and appearance in the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2021.
He spent the 2019 campaign at West Virginia University as an offensive student assistant
Jacobs’ first coaching assignment was at Bowling Green State University, where he served as an offensive student assistant, working with wide receivers and running backs over for the 2017 and ‘18 seasons.
He was accorded his bachelor of science in athletics coaching and administration from Findlay in 2023.
