2019 — Saw action in 11 games and made three starts: vs. Virginia Tech, Mercer, and The Citadel...credited with 10 tackles and an interception...pickoff was returned 13 yards against VMI (60-21 win)...had a season high three tackles versus Virginia Tech...team went 8-5, earned an at-large bid to the FCS playoffs, and finished 16th in the AFCA Coaches final poll.
2018 — Earned playing time in nine games and registered starts in four games at cornerback...credited with 20 tackles and three pass deflections...first start (3 tackles) came against Wofford (34-14 win)...had a season high four stops versus Samford, which he followed up with three tackles and a pass breakup against The Citadel (28-17 win).
2017 — Put together a solid freshman season after overcoming an injury that forced him to miss most of the preseason and first four games...made his debut against East Tennessee State (56-25 win) and earned his first start at cornerback the following week versus Chattanooga (41-17 win), tallying four tackles and a hit for-loss...started the final eight games...finished the season with 36 tackles, including two for-loss, two interceptions, and four pass deflections...first pickoff came in a 28-6 road win over Western Carolina...second interception was part of seven-tackle performance against Samford...registered a season high nine stops (6 solo, 3 ast.) against Elon in 28-27 FCS first round playoff victory... played a key role in Furman’s 8-5 season, playoff appearance, and No. 19 ranking in the STATS FCS Final Poll.
High School: 2017 graduate of Enterprise (7A) High School...football coach was David Faulkner...tallied 18 tackles, three interceptions, and a forced fumble as a senior in helping Enterprise post an 11-2 mark (the program’s best record since 1983) and advance two rounds into the state playoffs before falling to McGill-Toolen, 27-23...garnered honorable mention Alabama Sportswriters Association All-State honors...recipient of the Enterprise Ledger’s Wildcat Spirit Award...had eight career interceptions.
