2025 — Served as holder for all field goals and PATs, contributing to Ian Williams'  All-SoCon season that saw him convert 13-of-21 FGs and 28-of-28 PATs for a team leading 67 points...named to the SoCon All-Academic Team and SoCon Academic Honor Roll for the 2025-26 school year.

2024 — Did not see any action...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll for the 2024-25 school year.

High School: 2023 graduate of Charles E. Jordan (8A) High School...football coach was Justin Allred...handled kicking and punting duties after serving as long snapper his sophomore year...named  DAC-VII Special Teams Player of the Year as a senior...also played golf.

Personal: Full name is William Gray Gitter...born January 7, 2005, in Durham, North Carolina...has two sisters, Tilson and Ellie...uncle, Ricky Proehl, was one of the greatest receivers in Atlantic Coast Conference history at Wake Forest who went on to a 17-year NFL career and a pair of Super Bowl victories...cousin, Blake Proehl, played at East Carolina and for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings...another cousin, Austin Proehl, played at North Carolina and St. Louis Battle Hawks of the XFL...business administration major.
