2012 — Coaches second team preseason All-SoCon selection. 2011 — Started at free safety in all games...credited with 80 tackles, three interceptions, and three passes defensed...keyed Furman to a 20-10 victory over FCS third-ranked Appalachian State with a 12-tackle performance that also included a tackle for loss and pass breakup...also had 12 stops versus Georgia Southern...racked up 10 tackles and an interception in the Paladins’ 26-21 victory over fifth-ranked Wofford...keyed the Paladins to a 16-6 road triumph at The Citadel...registered a 17-yard interception return versus Presbyterian (63-21 win).  2010 — Fashioned an impressive first season of play, seeing action in all 11 games, including starts at the bandit (now linebacker) position in the final four games...racked up 52 tackles and four tackles for-loss...tallied 35 tackles in his four starts...earned the first start of his career and tallied nine tackles and a hit for-loss versus Appalachian State...followed that up the next week with nine stops, including two for-loss, against Western Carolina (31-14 win)...racked up a season high 10 stops against Elon...blocked a field goal against Chattanooga.  2009 —Did not see any action...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

High School:  2009 graduate of Griffin (4A) High School...football coach was Steve Devoursney...saw action at wide receiver, linebacker and free safety during his career...two-time all-area selection and 2008 honorable mention all-state honoree...member of three region championship and two state playoff semi-final teams...also competed in track...clocked a 49.75 in the 400m and cleared 6’6” in the high jump his junior year.
