2026 — Joined Furman in late spring as a graduate transfer from Tennessee Tech...has one year of eligibility remaining.

2025 — Tennessee Tech / Earned playing time in 10 games...caught six passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns...had two catches for 16 yards and a touchdown against Davidson (72-14 win)...had a 52-yard touchown catch against Chattanooga (45-17 win) and a 94-yard scoring reception versus Western Illinois (66-20 win).

2024 — Tennessee Tech / Appeared in 10 games...had one reception for 12 yards against South Carolina State.

2023 — Virginia Tech / Appeared in one game (vs. Syracuse).

2022 — Virginia Tech / Did not see any action...redshirted.

High School: 2022 graduate of Centreville High School...football coach was Jon Shields, his father...played wide receiver, safety and punt returner…as a senior caught 27 passes for 365 yards and seven touchdowns...earned 2021 NOVA Hall of Fame Player of the Year...first team all-district, all-region, and all-state selection...also played lacrosse, earning all-district as an attack.

Personal: Son of Jon and Meredith Shields...has two brothers, Jack and Will…father played football at Virginia Tech.
