Jack Bies is in his first year as an equipment manager at Furman and second year as a member of the Paladin staff, having assumed manager duties in the summer of 2021.

His primary responsibilities include coordinating all equipment ordering, inventory and distribution to the football team and staff.  He also oversees a staff of student managers and laundry operations.

A native of Lindenhurst, Ill., Bies earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from Ball State in 2020. 

He spent four seasons as a student equipment manager for the football team at Ball State and completed summer internships with both the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars before coming to Furman.
