2024-25:  Named to the All-SoCon team… Recorded a 72.3 stroke average over 30 rounds as a junior… Tied for sixth at 10-under to lead Furman at the Trinity Forest Invitational… Tied for fifth with rounds of 66-71-70=207 to pace the Paladins at the Furman Intercollegiate… Fired a season-best 65 to open the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, where he tied for seventh with a three-round total of 65-70-72=207 (-9)… Notched four top-10 finishes and six top-17 finishes in 10 events… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll, the SoCon Academic All-Conference Team, and the CSC Academic All-District Team… Honored as a GCAA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar.

2023-24:  Posted a 72.3 stroke average over 12 rounds as a sophomore… Finished among the top five in two of the four events in which he competed… Tied for fifth at the Furman Intercollegiate with rounds of 68-69-72=209 to finish at 4-under par… Competed as an individual at the General Hackler Championship, where he tied for third at 6-under par with a three-round total of 69-68-73=210… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23:  Competed in six rounds during his freshman campaign, recording a 72.8 stroke average… Tied for 36^th at the Furman Intercollegiate with rounds of 71-73-76=220… Fired a season-low 68 in round two of the Wofford Invitational, where he tied for 37^th… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

High School/Junior Golf:  Won the Optimist International qualifier and finished as runner up at the AJGA National Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior, earning a full AJGA exemption.... Finished second at both the AJGA Justin Thomas Junior Championship qualifier and the Sends Tour 2 Day Masters at Harrison Bay then tied for sixth at the Hudson Junior Invitational... A member of the Division II-AA Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State team in 2020... Led his Ensworth School team to the finals of the state championships the last four seasons, with the Tigers claiming the title in 2019... Akers served as captain of the Ensworth dive team and was named to the 2021 Tennessean All-Midstate Swimming and Diving Team after finishing among the top 10 at the state swim and dive meet...  An eagle Scout... A member of the National Society of High School Scholars... Chosen as a 2021 USGA-AJGA President Leadership Award finalist.
