Biography
2012: Earned first team All-Southern Conference and second team NSCAA All-South Region honors... started and played in 19 matched while pacing the Paladins with eight goals and nine assists... scored game-winning goals versus Gardner-Webb and North Florida... converted all three attempts from the penalty spot.
2011: Named second team All-Southern Conference after netting six goals and adding six assists in his first year as a Paladin... netted back-to-back match-winning goals in victories over Davidson and Wofford... scored on a free kick in a 3-1 NCAA Tournament loss at Charlotte.
2010: Made 12 appearances in 2010 while helping the Akron Zips capture the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer National Championship... he logged 280 minutes of playing time as Akron posted a 22-1-2 overall record that included a 1-0 victory over Louisville in the NCAA finals.
High School/Club: Ontiveros attended the Edison Academic Center in Bradenton, Fla., and played soccer at IMG Academy... he tallied a team-high 28 goals at IMG while earning 2010 IMG Player of the Year honors and leading his squad to a third place finish in the Academy League National Championships... a former member of the United States Under-18 National Team pool, Ontiveros was rated the No. 34 recruit in the country by Top Drawer Soccer in 2010.
