Freshman Year (2013-14): Finished 11^th with a time of 11:33.4 in the two-mile Western Carolina Invitational cross country meet…placed 12^th after clocking a 10:23.69 in the 3,000m at the High Point Team Challenge indoors…recorded a ninth-place finish in the 5,000m (17:35.12) at the Raleigh Relays…placed second in the 5,000m after notching a time of 17:25.79 at the Blue Shoes Invitational…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

High School:  Won the state championship in the indoor and outdoor 3,200m her junior year...a four-time qualifier for the state track and field meet...also qualified for the state cross country championships three times...top prep times:  (3,200m (10:46.08), cross country 5K (17:51.00).

Personal: Anna McBride was born on April 26, 1995, in Winston-Salem, N.C.…daughter of David and Lisa McBride…is undecided on her major.
