2020-21: Sat out the season due to Covid-19 pandemic, remaining in her native Spain for the school year.

2019-20: Appeared in six games off the bench…averaged 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds per game…played a season-high 16 minutes in a non-conference home win over Bob Jones...scored two points three times versus North Greenville, Newberry and Bob Jones…grabbed two rebounds against Bob Jones…named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2018-19: Came off the bench to play in eight games...scored two points in a road game at Georgia…added one rebound in a season-opening win at home over Coker…named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll…received the SoCon Commissioner’s Medal.

High School: Attended SEK El Castillo…played in Spain’s 1st Division for head coach Davor Matkovic…led the team in scoring as a sophomore and assists during her junior season…finished fourth or better in the state in three straight seasons…placed seventh in the country as a senior…also played soccer and volleyball.

Personal: Born on June 9, 2000 in New York, New York…daughter of Diego and Cristina Mateo…has one brother, Diego…her mother graduated from Furman in 1993…biology major.
