Biography

Sophomore year (2014-15):  Hoover did not see action for the Paladins. 

Freshman year (2013-14):  Hoover did not see action for the Paladins.  

Prep/Personal:  After initiating the reinstatement of the tennis team after an eight-year hiatus, Luke Hoover played his prep career under coaches Eddie Brisbois and Andre Lemaire at Royal St. George’s College.  A member of the Canadian National Team, he earned a ranking of 29th in Ontario and 50th among Canada’s U18s.  Hoover was named Royal St. George’s captain and MVP after helping the team to a second-place regional and provincial finish, and was the recipient of the Robert Bradley Award, which is given by Royal St. George’s to the student who best exemplifies the true spirit and values of the school.  An Ontario Scholar, he also competed on the basketball team as a senior, leading the team to a division championship, and on the golf team and track and field team.  Luke Hoover was born on November 10, 1995, in Toronto, Ontario, to Ron Hoover and Daiva Ratavicius Hoover.  He plans to major in mathematics.
