Named first team All-Atlantic Sun…started all 19 games…caused a team-high 22 turnovers and picked up a team-high 35 ground balls…won 26 draws…picked up a season high four ground balls in back-to-back games (Old Dominion, Central Michigan)…preseason All-Conference pick…named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll. 

2014-15
Named first team All-Atlantic Sun and unanimous Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team selection…started all 17 games in Furman’s inaugural season…scored two goals and tallied two assists…picked up a team-high 37 ground balls, won 29 draw controls and caused 14 turnovers…scored first-career goal vs. George Mason on March 10...won five draw controls in two games. 

High School
Led her Loch Raven team to the finals of the state championships as a freshman and sophomore and to the semifinals as a junior and senior...four-year varsity starter...team captain and Coach’s Award winner as a senior…honored as a GatorFest 2012 Standout...earned the Old Faithful Award as a member of her TLC club team...helped TLC to the Mid-Atlantic Championships in 2010-11...club team won the MD Club Championship, All-American Showcase Championship, and Downingtown Championship...a four-year varsity starter on the soccer team...twice honored as a member of the soccer all-county team...helped soccer team to a state championship as a freshman...earned Scholar Athlete accolades four-consecutive years...a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, and the Art Honor Society.

Born Samantha Paige Eckels on January 6, 1995, in Towson, Md.….daughter of Steve and Tammie Eckels...father, Steve, was a member of the soccer team at James Madison…majoring in communications.
