Appeared in 23 matches as a junior in her first year in a Furman uniform…tallied two kills on the year, both at Davidson on September 9…totaled 28 digs, including a season-high five vs. The Citadel in the SoCon Tournament…turned in a season-high three aces vs ETSU on September 23…finished third on the team in service aces with 15.

Sophomore Year (2015 – Loyola)

Appeared in 28 matches (one start) as a sophomore at Loyola…tallied three kills and 11 assists on the year…finished second on the team in service aces with 21…totaled 150 digs (1.74 d/s).

Freshman Year (2014 – Loyola)

Appeared in 29 matches (13 starts) as a freshman at Loyola…totaled four kills and six assists on the year…finished second on the team in service aces with 21…was second on the team in digs with 187 (2.01 d/s)

High School

Earned five letters in volleyball, two each in basketball and track and field and one in swimming at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill (North Carolina)... Named the Triad Athletic Conference (TAC) Player of the Year in 2010 and 2013 as a freshman and senior, respectively... Was an All-TAC player, as well and earned recognition on the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) All-State Team in 2013... Helped the Lions win conference championships all five years she played for the varsity team... Guided them to the NCISAA state finals in 2013, a state title in 2010 and the state semifinals in 2009 and 2011... Played club volleyball for North Carolina Volleyball Academy.

Anna Marie Eckstein... Daughter of Sue and Tim Eckstein... Has two older brothers, Todd and Tyler... Named to the Trinity Academic Honor Roll... Her mother was a member of the field hockey and golf teams at Duke University and is the athletic director at Trinity... Father is a golf professional and the general manager and director of golf at the Furman University Golf Course... Her brother, Todd, was a member of the golf team at Davidson College.
