Blair Estarfaa has been named an assistant coach with Furman's women's basketball program, it was announced by head coach
Pierre Curtis.
Estarfaa joins Furman's staff after serving in a similar capacity at Campbell, where he played a role in the Camels' 20-15 season that included a 13-5, second place finish in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Prior to his short stint at Campbell, Estarfaa served as head coach at Buffalo State University for two seasons (2024-25) following one year at Syracuse, where he held the position of video coordinator and director of player personnel.
Estarfaa spent three years (2020-22) at the University of Buffalo – the first year as director of basketball operations and final two campaigns as assistant coach, where he played a role in the Bulls posting a 25-9 record, winning the 2022 MAC championship, and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.
He served as men's assistant coach and junior varsity head coach at Daemen (N.Y) University for two years (2018-19) after launching his coaching career as a men's assistant coach at Alfred (N.Y.) University in 2016.
Estarfaa secured his undergraduate degree in 2016 SUNY Cortland, where he was an all-conference and all-region performer on the court and member of two conference championship squads.
