JONESBOROUGH, TENN. -- Freshman Reynolds Lambert (-6) tied for 15th and the Furman men's golf team shot a final-round 276 Sunday at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at the par 72, 7,147 Blackthorn Club at the Ridges in Jonesborough, Tenn.

The Paladins had three players, freshman Ross Funderburke (-5), Lambert, and junior Jack Crosby (+2), shoot under par as Furman recorded the second-best round in the history of the program, eclipsing Friday's 277.  All told on Sunday, the Paladins tallied three eagles and 15 birdies.

Lambert, who hails from Mountain Brook, Ala., eagled the par-5 No. 4 then scored birdies on three out of four holes from No. 5 through No. 8 to turn at four-under.  He added birdies on No. 12 and No. 14 for a final-round 67, tying for 16th. 

Freshman Ross Funderburke and senior Keller Harper (-5) tied for 18th.  Funderburke paced the Paladins with a 66 on Sunday after eagling the par-5 No. 14 and adding four birdies, including back to back birdies on No. 10 and No. 12.  Harper scored a 73 with birdies on No. 10 and No. 14 in the final round.  

Jack Crosby posted an eagle on the par-5 No. 8 and added four birdies on the front, including consecutive birdies on No. 4 and No. 5, to turn at five-under.  He fired a final round 70 to tie for 47th.  Freshman Walker Crosby (+X) carded a 74 on Sunday to tie for 63rd.  

East Tennessee State's Jack Rhea (-15) won individual medalist honors after posting rounds of 67-63-71=201. 

No. 12 Louisville (-34) also shot a 276 on Sunday to win the tournament by five strokes over host ETSU (-29), which ranks 29th.  No. 23 Tennessee (-27) finished third, followed by No. 34 Ole Miss (-23) in fourth place.  UNC Wilmington (-21) completed the top five, and Furman (-19) tied for sixth with N.C. State (-19).

The Paladins will conclude the 2019 fall season Nov. 3-5 at the East Bay Deli Classic on Kiawah Island, S.C.
