GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman's Savannah Carnahan won the 2020 Southern Conference Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer award, as voted on by the league coaches, the SoCon announced Wednesday.
Carnahan, who was honored as the women's Most Outstanding Athlete Sunday after scoring 26 points at the league's indoor championship, added Most Outstanding Track Performer honors to her list of accomplishments. A native of Cumming, Ga., last weekend she became the first women's runner in SoCon indoor history to win the 5,000m run in four straight years (16:38.38) and added second-place finishes in the 3,000m run (9:31.31) and the mile (4:52.54).
