GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's women's basketball squad returns to action Monday night when it welcomes Pfeiffer to Timmons Arena for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.
The Paladins (3-3) knocked off Charleston Southern, 71-58, on Saturday evening to even their season slate. Â Pfeiffer (1-3) hasn't played since Nov. 18, when it dropped a 70-57 decision to Meredith College.
Furman won the only previous clash with Pfeiffer, a 102-51 verdict during the 2017-18 season,

Jackie Carson's team used a balanced attack to beat Charleston Southern, placing four players in double figures, led by redshirt freshman guard
Jaelyn Acker's game high 19 points. Â Junior forward
Sydney James scored 17 points, which she combined with a career high 14 rebounds for the double-double.
Senior forward
Grace van Rij followed with 12 points, and sophomore forward
Jada Session rounded out the double figure attack with 11 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double as a Paladin.
Acker leads Furman in scoring (13.3 ppg) and is shooting a solid 35.5 percent (22x62) from 3-point range. Â The Richfield, Wisc., product has also drained 24 consecutive free throws after missing her first attempt of the season.
James is averaging 10.6 ppg and van Rij 10.0 ppg along with a team leading 6.7 rpg.
The Paladins play at Georgia on Thursday in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
