GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team will play host to Presbyterian Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center.
Over the years, Furman has been very successful on its home court. Over the past 20 seasons the Paladins have lost only 34 matches at home, posting an impressive record of 152-34 since 2002.
Wednesday's match marks the 35th meeting between the Paladins and the Blue Hose. The teams last met in 2018, when Furman defeated Presbyterian, 4-3, in Greenville.
Furman enters the match at 2-1 after defeating Emmanuel, 7-0, to end January's play. The Paladins swept the doubles and singles matches for the victory.
The Blue Hose are 2-4 with victories over Emmanuel and Kennesaw State. Presbyterian dropped two matches at 12th-ranked South Carolina in January then fell, 6-1, at ETSU on Sunday.
