Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's lacrosse team remains at home on Tuesday evening when it hosts the Virginia Tech Hokies in non-conference action at 6 p.m. from Paladin Stadium.

Admission to all Furman women's lacrosse home games this season is free of charge.
The Paladins (0-2) opened the home portion of its 2022 schedule on March 5 with a 21-9 loss to Elon.
Meagan Beal and
Anna Roser scored a team high three goals for Furman while
Paige Harman contributed two assists and one goal. Beal added three ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw and Roser registered her first career hat trick.
Lauren Farber won a career best five draws to go with two ground balls and one goal.
Hannah Dintino scored once and
Ryan Bionda added an assist.
In goal,
Lily Rathbun set new career highs with 13 saves and six ground balls.
The Paladins forced Elon into 13 turnovers during the contest while registering 17 ground balls and 14 draws.
Roser and Beal both lead Furman offensively this season with five points. Roser has scored a team high five goals while Beal contributes four goals and one assist. Harman has dished out a team best three assists. Rathbun has made 22 saves.
Virginia Tech is currently 6-3 on the season and has won four games in a row entering Tuesday's matchup. The Hokies are coming off a 17-5 victory over Winthrop on March 12. Virginia Tech is under the direction of first-year head coach Kristen Skiera.
The Paladins and Hokies are meeting for the first time in program history.
Furman begins a two-game road trip on Saturday, March 19 when it travels to Emmitsburg, Md. to face Mount St. Mary's at 3 p.m.
