HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Junior Anna Morgan (+4) tied for 13th Wednesday in the final round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the par 71, 6,281 yard Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.  The tournament made history as the first all-women's regular season collegiate golf tournament to be aired live on Golf Channel.

A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Morgan carded a final-round 73 with consecutive birdies on No. 5 and No. 6 to finish eight strokes back of individual medalist Carolina Lopez-Chacarra of Wake Forest, who posted a three-round total of 71-69-69=209. 

Sophia Burnett (+9) tied for 35th after carding a 75 with a birdie on No. 1 on Wednesday, and senior Sarah-Eve Rhéaume (+17) finished in 76th place after posting a 76 with birdies on No. 5 and No. 18.  Freshman Savannah Hylton (+26) fired her best round of the event on Wednesday, shooting a 74 with a birdie on No. 7 to finish in 84th place, while senior Kyra Cox (+27) scored a 79 with birdies on No. 5 and No. 17 in the final round to place 85th. 

No. 45 Furman (+49) finished the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in 16th place in a loaded field, which included 12 of the nation's top 30 teams.  Fifth-ranked Wake Forest (+9) won the tournament by nine strokes over fourth-ranked host South Carolina (+18).  No. 13 Arizona State (+20) was third, followed by 21st-ranked Baylor (+21) and No. 11 Texas (+21) in a tie for fourth.  

The Paladins will compete at the UNF Collegiate, March 7-8 in Jacksonville, Fla.
