GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The 36th-ranked Furman women's tennis team will entertain Samford Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C., in the Paladins' final home match of the season.    On Sunday, Furman will travel to UNC Greensboro for a noon contest at the UNCG Tennis Courts.

Furman is 15-6 overall and 4-0 in SoCon play after defeating Western Carolina, 7-0, on Wednesday.  Paladin senior Julia Adams is currently ranked 59th nationally in singles, while Adams and sophomore Ellie Schoppe are ranked 36th among the nation's top doubles teams.

UNCG holds a 2-12 overall mark and is 1-3 in the SoCon after beating Mercer, 4-3, in Macon in March.  The Paladins defeated the Spartans, 6-1, in Greenville last season to take a 25-3 lead in the series.
