ETSU rallied from a 2-0 deficit with a run in the fourth inning and three in the fifth to down Furman, 4-2, in game one.

Sacrifice flies from Riley Ludlam and Emily Bartlett gave Furman a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning before ETSU mounted a rally. After Kelly Warren reached on a leadoff single in the fourth and scored on a groundout, the Bucs exploded for three runs the following inning. Amber Atkins reached on a single and Ally Chernak added a single with two outs to keep the ETSU rally alive and drive in the tying run. Warren singled and stole second to but two runners in scoring position and Andrea Sarhatt put the Bucs in front with a two-run single to center field.
